This project involved installation of a brand-new ammonia machine room, including new compressors, two recirculators, a glycol heat exchanger, and evaporative condenser. We designed the new machine room and all of its distribution piping to connect to existing equipment in the plant. This upgrade significantly reduced the amount of ammonia inside the plant which decreases the potential for leaks inside the building. The new system also adds increased efficiency to the existing plant in operation.
